You can permanently delete your Yipy account and the personal information associated with it.

What deletion removes

• your Yipy profile and account connection;
• your profile photograph and personal settings;
• your follows, invitations, reactions, notes, and other personal activity;
• photographs and other user content associated with your account, subject to the shared-content and legal considerations below; and
• local Yipy account data on your device when sign-out and deletion complete.

Shared Roll considerations

Deleting an account may affect shared Rolls and memories belonging to other members. Yipy will remove or disassociate your personal information and user content as required, while preserving only information that must remain for the integrity of another person’s lawful shared record or that we are legally required to retain. The confirmation screen will explain the expected effect before deletion.

What happens next

Sending a request does not immediately deactivate your account. Yipy first verifies ownership, then confirms whether the request has been accepted, the next steps and the applicable timing. Some backups, fraud-prevention records, security events, or information required by law may remain for a limited period under the Privacy Policy.

In the Yipy app

Open Profile, tap the options button, then choose Account & Privacy → Email Deletion Request. This opens the same privacy address with a prepared request.

Before deleting

If you need a copy of information associated with your account, request it before deletion by contacting privacy@yipy.app. Account deletion cannot be undone after it completes.
