Yipy lets you take photos directly into personal albums called Rolls. Choose a hobby, activity or place before you capture. Your new photos belong to that collection from the start, instead of waiting to be sorted later.

A path, changing leaves, a familiar bench. Return to the same Roll each weekend and build a collection around the activity, not just one date.

Save the light by the window, your favourite table or a quiet morning. Choose this Roll when you capture; the app does not automatically assign photos to places.

Name your Roll
Create a Roll for your subject and choose Live or Sealed. Leave invitations out if this collection is just for you.
Open it to capture
Select that Roll in Yipy and take your photo inside it. Add an optional note after capture when a detail deserves remembering.
Return to the collection
Keep capturing while the Roll is open. Browse available photos, zoom into a detail and revisit the notes that give each moment meaning.

See photos as they become ready. A Live Roll has no selected end date or fixed frame count. End it when the collection feels complete, while keeping the album.
Sealed Roll
Wait for the reveal
Photos stay hidden until reveal. Capture closes when the frame pool fills or the capture window ends. If you invite others, optional contribution rules can limit their full-album access.

Search your memories by Roll, photographer or participant, saved place and date. Place results use place information you saved with your own photos; photos without it are not automatically tagged. People search refers to photographers and participants, not face recognition.
Before you start
A few practical details
Will Yipy tidy my existing phone gallery?
No. Yipy is for taking new photos into Rolls. It does not import your existing camera library, delete duplicates or automatically organise old photos.
Can I use Yipy without a group?
Yes. Keep a Roll personal by not inviting anyone. When you want to share a collection, invite people through its link. New members need the iPhone app and an account, then return to the invitation link to join.
What if the collection is for a trip with friends?
Use a shared Roll so friends can capture into the same album. Our group-trip guide walks through the WhatsApp invitation and capture flow.
